Chloe is a Sports Ambassador for the Academies Enterprise Trust Schools, providing mentoring, coaching and advice on elite sport to their students across the country.

Chloe has helped in making an impact to young people’s lives and raising aspirations whilst working on the Sporting Champions programme, and is now looking to inspire your audience by sharing her secret of what it takes to be the best you can be!

Biography

Chloe was a member of the GB women’s hockey squad who won a Bronze Medal at London 2012 Olympics. At the age of 27 and with 164 international caps to date, she has competed in all major hockey tournaments since 2006 including European cups, World cups, Champions Trophies, Commonwealth Games sand two Olympic Games in that time. Born and grew up near Great Dunmow in Essex, Chloe started the sport at school and went on to play 8 seasons at Chelmsford hockey club and represented the County of Essex and East of England and National Junior teams. 

Chloe made her international debut against Japan in 2003 and has been present in the international squad since. She worked her way up through the age-groups having represented at Under 16’s, U 18’s and U21’s for England.  She plays for Leicester Ladies HC in the English NHL and they hold the National Indoor title for 2010 and England Hockey Championship winners for the 2011-2012 season. 2012 has been a successful year for the team winning silver in February out in Argentina at the Champions Trophy and then at the London Olympics picking up a Bronze medal beating NZ 3-1 in the playoff match.
