Inspiring Others and Changing Lives

Liz is very passionate about passing on to others what she has learnt through her sports career. She has learnt some of her most valuable life lessons on the badminton court and through the ups and downs of her journey and she is grateful that all of these experiences have put her in a position to be able to help others now. Alongside her previous role as one of Sport England's Sporting Champions Liz also worked with the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust mentoring young people, which she still does now.

Liz has made a huge impact to young people’s lives and raising aspirations whilst working on the Sporting Champions programme, and is now looking to inspire your audience by sharing her secret of what it takes to be the best version of yourself!

The most influential tournament she competed in was her first Commonwealth Games in 1998 in Kuala Lumpur.  Career highlights include winning Commonwealth medals, reaching thetop 20 in the World rankings and beating the World number seven ranked player.
