Inspiring Others Changing Lives

Henni is very passionate about giving back to the sport that has given her so much. She regularly does charity golf days and disabled golf is close to her heart having done some work with the ISPS disabled golf projects. Henni also does work for the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust and very much enjoys her role as an athlete role model for young people.

Henni helped in making an impact to young people’s lives and raising aspirations whilst working on the Sporting Champions programme, and is now looking to inspire your audience by sharing her secret of what it takes to be the best you can be!

"Henni is great to work with, and she clearly has a lot of passion for golf that can motivate the groups of people with disabilities that we work with." Richard Shaw, Sportivate deliverer, London Sport

Henni was only 11 years old when she was hand-picked to be a member of Team Faldo, Sir Nick’s junior initiative. This privileged opportunity saw her playing golf all over the world and gain an invaluable insight into the lifestyle of a professional golfer, as well as benefiting from expert nutritional and exercise tuition.

It was an experience that brought about an immaculate playing record through her junior years. Henni became the England U13’s, U15’s and Central European U16’s Champion during a period which saw her boast an incredible 50 top 10 finishes in 50 events.

Henni’s ability to perform on the big stage was clear in 2006 as she finished as the best-placed amateur at the Hungarian and Italian Opens, both LET events. As the Girls British Open Amateur Champion she was selected for the 2007 GB&I Curtis Cup squad. One year later she was turning 18, turning pro, and flying to Madrid for personal advice off David Beckham.

On her maiden tour year, Henni put in her best performance as a professional by finishing tied 3rd at the 2008 S4C Wales Lades Open. Even though 2009 was an injury-stricken season, Henni showed admirable determination by qualifying for that year’s Ricoh Women’s British Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes.

After an encouraging year on the LET Henni secured her 2014 LET tour card with an impressive 10th place finish at the final stage of Q-school. She undoubtedly has proved there is the belief and raw talent to continue from strength to strength this season and make it her most successful to date.
